  • The Adult Twilight “Fireworks “BYOB” Cruise

Spend some alone time together as a couple or with adult members of your family on this two-hour cruise on the Cumberland Sound. Don’t forget your own cups, flatware, corkscrews, and alcohol because BYOB means Bring Your Own Bottle. Listen to Fernandina’s talented local musicians while waiting for the fireworks display to begin. It’s a great way to finish the evening with a bang.

  • Family Friendly “Fireworks 2 Hour” Sunset Cruise

If you have children with you, enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere on the sunset cruise. It starts at 8:30 pm and gives everyone onboard an abbreviated history of the area. If you’re new in town or just visiting, this is a great way to get acquainted with Amelia Island and the surrounding area.

  • The Red White and Deep Blue Celebration

Held at the Ritz-Carlton in Amelia Island from 9:15 pm to 12:00 am, this annual celebration serves up delicious barbecue food, drinks, and plenty of entertainment. Enjoy games and live music while waiting for the fireworks show to begin. Get there early so you can get good seats for the nights festivities. This event is family-friendly.

  • Stars and Stripes Freedom Festival

Hosted by the city of Fernandina Beach, this annual festival is free. It takes place from 10 am to 2 pm and offers live entertainment, food truck cuisine, arts and crafts, and unlimited waterslide rides for $10. Bring the family out to see the special service vehicle display.

  • Sounds on Centre Street

Located in historic downtown Fernandina Beach, the two-hour celebration takes place from 6 pm to 8 pm on July 1st. The free concert on the 1st will be headlined by Flipturn, an indie rock/alternative band. Make sure to bring beach chairs because you don’t want to miss out on the festivities brought to you and your family.
