The 3rd Annual Redfish Spot Tournament
The 3rd Annual Redfish Spot Tournament will be held on September 9th, 2017 where the angler who brings in a legal Redfish with the most spots wins. A captain’s meeting will be held on September 8th while anglers will start fishing on Saturday Sept. 9th. It will be held at the Amelia Island Marina at 251 Creekside Drive, Fernandina Beach, so don’t miss it if you happen to be in town.
Rendezvous Music Film Festival
The Rendezvous Music Film Festival will be held from September 21st to 23rd. This is the only music and film festival in all of Northern Florida and brings artists of all backgrounds together in a 3-day celebration on the beach, showing dozens of independent films, animations, music videos, short films, documentaries and more.

2017 Amelia Island Jazz Festival
The 2017 Amelia Island Jazz Festival will be held from October 8th to the 15th 2017, featuring several live music events during this week.
The event kicks off with a Jazz in the Park free concert which will be held at the YMCA between 14th and Citrona in Fernandina Beach on October 8th, 2017 at 2-4 p.m. This concert will feature the University of North Florida Jazz Ensemble with food and drinks provided by Gilbert’s Underground Kitchen.
Following the kickoff event, there will be live jazz music events every single night from October 9th through the 15th. Events include wine tasting, Latin jazz concerts, swing nights, and festival culminates with a Dixie to Swing Jazz Brunch on the final day. Other Fall events
Although these are some of biggest fall events on the island, you can find several others to suit your interest including a weekly Mixology Tour, a tour of the weekly farmers’ market and cooking classes, dramas performed by the Amelia Community Theatre, history pub crawls, and a variety of Halloween events.
In October, the Amelia Island Museum of History will be hosting special ghost tours of the island as well as pub crawls. A variety of tours are always available at the Museum of History throughout the year, so you’ll be able to enjoy them no matter when you visit this fall.
